Total Eleven is a free football manager game in your browser. This guide walks you through everything you do in a normal week as a manager: tactics, training, transfers, the stadium and matchday.

Your first six steps
Follow these in order and you will have a competitive club in your first session.
2. Pick your eleven
In Squad & tactics drag players into the pitch, choose a formation, a mentality and a style of play. Injured or suspended players cannot start.
3. Train every week
Training lets you set the intensity of goalkeeping, tackling, passing, speed and shooting. Young players improve faster; players over 31 slowly decline.
4. Sign players
Transfers has free agents and live auctions. Your scout travels for 10 days and brings back three young players for you to choose from.
5. Grow the club
Expand your stadium, build matchday shops and raise your fanbase. Every seat and every shop increases your matchday income.
6. Win the league
Matchdays are played automatically and you can watch yours live for five minutes. Win your division, get promoted and collect the season prize.

Frequently asked questions
How long does one session of Total Eleven take?
A few minutes. You can set your lineup, run training and check the transfer market in two or three minutes, or stay for the five-minute live match.
Do I need to be online when my match is played?
No. League matchdays are simulated on the server at a fixed time, so your result is waiting for you when you come back.
How do promotions and relegations work?
There are three divisions. At the end of each season the top clubs of Second and Third Division go up, the bottom clubs go down, and champions receive a cash prize.
What happens to injured and suspended players?
Injured players recover over a number of matches and train slower in the meantime. Three yellow cards or a red card means a suspension, and neither can be picked in the starting eleven.
Is Total Eleven really free?
Yes. The full game — leagues, transfers, academy, stadium and the World Cup — is free to play in your browser.
